Representation before Turkmen courts and support in international arbitration, with strategy and budget agreed with the client at the outset.
We represent clients before the Arbitration Court of Turkmenistan and in civil and administrative proceedings, including proceedings involving state agencies. In international commercial and investment arbitration, we work alongside the client's foreign counsel on Turkmen law, evidence and local steps.
Our approach is set early: we test the claim or defence against the evidence, agree the strategy and budget with the client, and pursue a negotiated outcome where it serves the client better than a judgment. When a matter must be litigated, we prepare filings in Turkmen or Russian, represent the client at first instance, in cassation and in supervisory review, and see the decision through to enforcement.
